De klant

Loft4c is een duo interieurarchitecten in Antwerpen: Filip Deslee en Keith Baert. Loft4c staat bekend om haar strakke, pure ontwerpen met Filip Deslee-signatuur. Minder bekend maar even bemind is de twist die Keith Baert, de andere helft van het duo, aan zijn ontwerpen geeft. Loft4c huist in de IJsfabriek in Antwerpen en heeft in hetzelfde gebouw ook nog een loft die ze verhuren als LOFT1D, kwestie van te kunnen proeven van puur leven en wonen zoals Loft4c dat ziet.

De opdracht

Filip Deslee en Keith Baert vroegen Schrijfwerken om hun merk vorm te geven en een platform te bouwen voor hun diensten en werk. Niet alleen als toonzaal maar ook als werkinstrument bij salesgesprekken.

Het resultaat

Schrijfwerken maakte een website met veel beeld en uitgepuurde teksten die een mooi overzicht geeft van het werk van LOFT4C. De nadruk wordt gelegd op de zeven services die Filip en Keith aanbieden en de honderden projecten die ze reeds hebben uitgetekend en afgeleverd. Behalve beeld gebruiken we ook video-animaties om de digitale ontwerp-kwaliteiten van LOFT4C te tonen.

Voor LOFT1D maakten we een aparte pagina met een bookingsysteem.

Voor de producten van LOFT4C werd een kleine online shop gebouwd met extra product options.

Tools & resources

• De website is gemaakt met WP met daarbovenop DIVI.
• De website heeft een dubbel back-up systeem en gebruikt daar onder andere Backup-buddy voor
• De website is volledig SEO-proof met YOAST
• De website wordt gehost bij Level27.

De homepagina opent met beeld dat de signatuur van LOFT4C volop uitstraalt en door het parallax-effect helemaal wordt uitgelicht. De boodschap volgt onmiddellijk: beleef LOFT4C, werk samen met LOFT4C, laat u inspireren door LOFT4C. De doelgroepen worden onmiddellijk afgebakend: ‘om in te wonen’ en ‘om in te werken’.

De hele pagina ademt ‘leer ons kennen’ en de navigatie is daar ook op ingesteld: contacteer ons, leer onze services kennen, maak kennis met ons, … Zonder evenwel het ui te schreeuwen.

Voor het beeldmateriaal zorgde LOFT4C zelf en werd er beroep gedaan op de Belgische fotograaf Pieter Van Goethem.

LOFT4C biedt 7 services aan en wil zich niet alleen beperken tot totaalprojecten. Het interieurarchitectenbureau wil ook niet top-down werken maar bottom-up. De klant moet met hen meedenken. Daarom is de pagina opgebouwd als een ‘interior design journey’ waar de klant de verschillende aspecten van het traject en de daaraan gekoppelde services van LOFT4C leert kennen. LOFT4C gebruikt de pagina ook als tool bij gesprekken met klanten.

Om de verschillende kwaliteiten van LOFT4C te tonen gebruiken we ook video-animatie, gemonteerd met beeldmateriaal van LOFT4C zelf.

Begin 2018 had LOFT4C al 126 projecten op haar website staan. De eerste 80 uit hun archieven hebben we er zelf opgezet. Sindsdien voegen ze gestaag zelf nieuwe projecten toe aan hun portfolio-pagina.

Op de portfolio-pagina zit een filter zodat de bezoeker kan kiezen tussen woon- en zakenprojecten. Er zijn diepere filterfuncties voorzien zoals op ‘badkamers’ of ‘livings’ maar LOFT4C houdt het liever wat abstract voor de bezoeker. Daarom wordt de informatie over elk project ook summier gehouden: enkele een nummer, beelden en een grafisch voorstelling van hoe puur het ontwerp is en hoeveel twist er in zit.

LOFT1D is ingericht en te huur voor klanten, reizigers en toeristen die even in de ontwerpen van LOFT4C wil wonen. De pagina is opgebouwd als een presentatie voor een ‘vakantieverblijf’: praktisch, inspirationeel en met quotes van eerdere gasten.

Achter de booking knop werkt een bookingsysteem dat voor de bezoekers gebruiksvriendelijk is en voor de beheerders – LOFT4C zelf – makkelijk te bedienen en te aan te passen is.

De website van LOFT4C heeft een webshop. Die wordt gebruikt om boeken, interieurobjecten en eigen ontwerpen aan klanten tijdens een project te tonen en direct te laten bestellen. Ook wie geen klant is bij LOFT4C kan in de ‘shopping selection’ bestellen. Dat geldt zeker voor de eigen collectie linnen die LOFT4C lanceerde: PHI. Een selectiesysteem helpt de bezoeker bij PHI kleuren en details te kiezen.
